Epher had walked through the magnificent mountains on an old, wooded trail. Epher left his old mountain temple behind in order to discover the myriad of things beyond his old, secluded home. For the longest time he wondered what could possibly be beyond his humble abode. He thought that there might be a great treasure or even a fierce warrior. Nevertheless, he tread on, anxiously wanting to discover what was beyond the mountains, but he was in no rush to enjoy the scenery. He enjoyed the pleasant sounds of the birds singing and the leaves swaying in the breeze. He felt that he was at peace with himself; walking down this old road and listening to the earth calling out to him. Adventure of this nature was something new to him, and he enjoyed every moment of it.

He walked the path for several hours until he reached something he had never seen before. He gazed ahead and saw a great collection of houses and people. He saw people of much variety. Miners, merchants, peasants, priests, they were too numerous to count. He descended down, awaiting his first discovery. When he descended into the town, the townsfolk were completely flabbergasted by this odd boy. He looked like someone that they had never seen before. Whoever this boy was, it didn't stop the local ruffians from confronting him; wanting to take whatever valuables he had on him. Epher drew his sword, ready for a fight.

Although Epher was not prepared for such an encounter, he was not ready to back down. His eyes were fierce, and his stance ready. He nodded at the young mage kind enough to help, and lunged at one of the ruffians. He struck the man in the arm, which he promptly responded "You dang brat! I oughta gut you!" He looked at the mage, curious at what he might do.

(Since this is my first character, he's kind of a larry stu. I'll try to make his flaws more apparent later on)
